2010 China, Japan, Korea Seminar on Analytical Chemistry Held in Wuhan

On October 28th, at the 2010 China International Internet of Things (Sensor Network) Expo 2010, Zhang Xiaoqiang, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, sent a written speech to the conference. In his speech, he said that the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan has clearly stated that it is necessary to develop the next-generation national infrastructure for broadband convergence and security and promote the application of the Internet of Things.

"At the 15th Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Central Committee, which was just concluded, through the 12th Five-Year Plan of the Central Government on Work Development, it clearly proposed to develop the next-generation national infrastructure for broadband convergence and security, and promote the application of the Internet of Things. “Zhang Xiaoqiang disclosed that at present, the National Development and Reform Commission is making relevant advancement work on the technology, standards, and application demonstration of the Internet of Things.

In the construction of the Wuxi demonstration area, Zhang Xiaoqiang stated that the National Development and Reform Commission has incorporated the construction of the Wuxi Sensor Network demonstration area into the important task of promoting the development of the Internet of Things in China. Recently, the Development and Reform Commission approved the Wuxi Sensor Network Construction Demonstration Zone in planning and layout. Greater support will be given to innovation capacity building, technology research and development and superior projects.
