1.Excellent performance of application. With high specific capacity and
high energy density, fluorocarbon batteries are easy to be
miniaturized. Lithium-fluorocarbon(Li-(CFx)n) Battery Shandong Zhongshan Photoelectric Materials Co., Ltd , https://www.zshcchem.com
The joint venture plan was an agreement between the former plastic additive division of Ciba and Astra Polymers, but in 2009, Ciba was acquired by BASF.
The company stated that the termination of the joint venture plan will not affect the existing agreement between the companies, nor will it affect the operation of the special antioxidant mixture provided to customers in the region.
2.Excellent high temperature resistance.Fluorocarbon material has excellent thermal stability and does not
decompose at high temperature(≤600℃), besides it does not crystallize at
low temperature, so the capacity retention rate of Li-(CFx)n battery is high, the working temperature range of Li-(CFx)n battery can achieve to -40 ~ 125 ℃ after the battery is improved.
3.Excellent discharge performance. The discharge performance of Li-(CFx)n battery is
excellent, the working voltage is as high as 3V. At the same time, when
the battery is working, the fluorocarbon is converted into lithium
fluoride and carbon that can conduct electricity, and the internal
resistance does not increase. The discharge plateau is stable, and the
working voltage can be stable until the end of discharging.
4.Good storage performance.Li-(CFx)n battery is very stable, no matter in the
process of using or in the condition of normal storage, its
self-discharge rate is very low, ≤1%, its shelf life is more than 10
years.
5.Superior safety performance. The excellent chemical and
physical stability of the fluorocarbon ensures the safety of the Li-(CFx)n battery. It is still very safe in the case of short circuit, extrusion, collision, over discharge and high temperature.
6.Green environmental protection.During the process of production,
using and rejection of batteries, there is no heavy metals involved.
BASF terminates joint venture plan with Saudi Polymers
BASF said on July 1 that they have suspended plans to establish a joint venture with Saudi Astra Polymer Composites. According to the original plan, the new joint venture will produce special antioxidant mixtures for customers in the Middle East.
