Driven by the overall recovery in the auto market, commercial vehicles also achieved a Jedi counterattack in the second half of 2009. The latest statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers show that in 2009, the production and sales of commercial vehicles completed 3,407,200 units and 3,133,500 units, respectively, an increase of 33% and 28% year-on-year respectively. In the first half of 2009, the production and sales of domestic commercial vehicles were 1,571,900 and 1,655,500, respectively, and the output increased by 1.64% compared with the same period of last year, but the sales volume was down by 0.52% year-on-year. In other words, the growth of commercial vehicles is achieved in the second half of the year.

Light trucks contribute the most

Statistics show that in the second half of the year, the demand for the commercial vehicle market has picked up significantly, with the largest contribution from the truck market. Miniature trucks have seen the fastest growth, and the demand for tractor-trailers has gradually recovered. In 2009, a total of 2,784,400 trucks (including non-integrated vehicles) were sold, an increase of 34% year-on-year. Among the main types of trucks, the growth rate of mini trucks was the most obvious, with a total of 505,700 vehicles sold, a year-on-year increase of 73%. The contribution to the sales growth of commercial vehicles was 29%; the sales of light trucks totaled 1.5596 million, an increase of 30% year-on-year. Vehicle sales growth contribution rate was 49%; medium trucks ended the downward trend and showed rapid growth, total sales of 258,000 vehicles, an increase of 25% year-on-year, and a 7% contribution to sales growth of commercial vehicles; heavy-duty truck market entered the second half Demand has picked up. A total of 425,100 vehicles were sold, a year-on-year increase of 23%. The contribution to sales growth of commercial vehicles was 11%, and the market rebounded faster than expected. The market demand for semi-trailer tractors began in the second half of the year. The monthly sales volume continued to grow rapidly year-on-year, and the market gradually recovered. In 2009, the sales of semi-trailer tractors were 21,100, an increase of 9% year-on-year. Passenger car market demand rebounded slightly, with a total of 354,000 vehicles sold, a year-on-year increase of 4%, slightly better than the previous year.

There are many good news this year

In view of the successful reversal of the commercial vehicle trend last year, analysts believe that this inertia will continue to develop. CICC predicts that heavy trucks will achieve 15% growth this year, and light trucks will increase by 14%. The demand for restrained passenger cars that severely “delayed” the market last year was released, an increase of 15%. According to the overall growth rate of 15%, the total commercial vehicle sales this year will be close to 4 million.

In addition, “the automobile to rural areas policy has become the only policy measure that has not been changed in the 2010 industrial revitalization plan. Light trucks, micro-cards and heavy trucks have the same industry attributes.” An auto company analyst at a securities company told the newspaper. "According to the current order status of various companies, we expect heavy truck industry sales in the first quarter of 2010 to increase by at least 40%."

In addition, investment continues to increase the pulling effect of commercial vehicles . "In the 4 trillion investment, last year the central government invested less than 1 trillion yuan. In 2010 and 2011, it was the peak of investment of 4 trillion yuan." Jianghuai Automobile Commercial The person in charge of the car said, "This will greatly boost the sales of commercial vehicles."

The more favorable factor is that the auto export market is picking up: Six ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Finance have jointly issued the "Opinions on Promoting the Sustainable and Healthy Development of China's Automobile Products Exports". The specific policies will be introduced.

Meanwhile, the global economic recovery, demand for Chinese commercial vehicle recovery, auto exports and commercial vehicles is our advantage models.
