Glass fiber reinforced plastic pipe top new national standard implementation in September

The national standard GB/T21492-2008 "Fiberglass reinforced plastic pipe jacking" drafted by Wuhan University of Technology, Beijing Glass Steel Research Composites Co., Ltd. and China Composite Materials Industry Association will be implemented on September 1, 2008.
Glass fiber reinforced plastics iacking pipe (abbreviated as GRP pipe) is a kind of pipe product developed on the basis of glass fiber reinforced plastic pipe to adapt to underground non-excavation jacking construction method. Since 1999, it has been applied in major municipal projects such as Liang'an, Changsha, Shenyang, Shijiazhuang, Guangzhou, Zhanjiang, Linhai, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Dongguan, with a total length of over 30,000m. It has been applied for 3 to 8 years. ,Running well. In particular, in 2004, the Guangzhou Pipe Jacking Project created a national record of the maximum jacking length of 236m for single pits and 69m for DN2500. The DN2300 GRP pressure pipe jacking was used in the Shanghai Changting Drinking Water Phase III project, with a pressure of 0.6 MPa. The test pressure was 1.0 MPa, which caused a great response from the engineering community.
GRP pipe jacking has the advantages of small jacking force, high jacking accuracy, light weight, corrosion resistance, smooth friction coefficient of the inner wall, long service life, good impermeability of pipelines and interfaces, etc., and has become more and more widely used. However, because there are no GRP pipe jacking standards at home and abroad, it has limited the development of GRP pipe jacking to a certain extent. Because there are no standards to follow for GRP pipe jacking manufacturers, quality cannot be effectively guaranteed, and some unnecessary projects have emerged. ACCIDENT. Therefore, the formulation of this standard is of great significance to the design and production of GRP pipe jacking and the safety and economy of the GRP pipe jacking project. It also creates better technical conditions for the development of China's GRP jacking pipe.
