The production process of the comprehensive recovery of Cd, Se and Te from lead blast and soot in Shuikoushan No. 3 Smelter is shown in Figure 1.

This dust is first blended with 15% to 20% sand and 8% to 12% of scrap iron added reverberatory furnace were mixed and melted at a high temperature volatilization enriched 1473K, the dust collection bag enriched with cadmium selenide Oh . The composition of the bag dust is as follows: 10.8% to 26.8% Cd, 0.2% to 0.51% Se, 1% to 1.4% Te, 0.28% to 0.5% Zn, and 29% to 50% Pb.

Such enriched dust bag prior leaching of cadmium sulfate, cadmium, selenium, tellurium, into the solution, then the reducing agent sink Na2SO3 as selenium and tellurium, according to hydrometallurgical extraction processes cadmium. Such dust may volatilized first fired at 773 ~ 793K, thallium volatilization preferentially enriched in the soot.

The enriched dust can be calcined by 40% to 50% industrial sulfuric acid, then leached with a sulfuric acid solution containing 90-130 g/L, and the leaching solution is purified to remove impurities, and then the cathode is electrowinned. Cadmium is then refined and cast into 99.99% or more of refined cadmium.
