According to the statistics of the China National Automobile Association, November was the fourth consecutive year that commercial vehicles have experienced a year-on-year decline in both sales and sales. In November, commercial vehicles produced and sold 152,400 units and 162,300 units, down 17.61% and 8.41% month-on-month, and down 31.23% and 25.96% year-on-year. In November, the production and sales of wagons were 104,400 units and 110,300 units, a month-on-month decrease of 19.40% and 8.81%, a year-on-year decrease of 23.41% and 16.12%; 3808 units and 4484 units of semi-trailer tractors were sold, down 57.62% and 48.49% month-on-month. 74.15% and 70.61%; production and sales of non-integrated trucks, 20,400 and 24,400 vehicles, output decreased by 12.68%, sales volume increased by 0.09%, and decreased by 42.77% and 37.96% respectively.
In November, the top ten commercial vehicle sales companies were: Dongfeng, Beiqi Futian, Jinbei Stock, Chongqing Chang'an, FAW, Lifan, Jiangling, CNHTC, Chengdu Xindi, and SAIC-GM-Wuling. Compared with the previous month, the growth rate of the new land in Chengdu is the most significant and the market performance is relatively outstanding. In November, the above-mentioned ten companies sold a total of 107,100 commercial vehicles, accounting for 66% of the total commercial vehicle sales.
Heavy truck production and sales in the same period
In November, the monthly production of heavy trucks (including non-integrated vehicles) was 10,927 vehicles, a decrease of 52.08% year-on-year; sales of 14,006 vehicles were down 38.85% year-on-year. Compared with October, production and sales of heavy trucks fell by 38.91% and 13.75%. Among them, heavy-duty trucks produced and sold 3,650 units and 4,629 units in November, a year-on-year decrease of 55.75% and 33.82%; heavy-duty trucks and non-integrated vehicles produced and sold 7,277 units and 9,377 units in November, a year-on-year decrease of 50.01% and 41.07%.
In November, heavy truck trucks sold 69 units of heavy trucks with a total mass of >32 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 47.73%; and sales of 19,500 tons of trucks with a total quality of 26 tons were 2,483 units, a year-on-year decrease of 9.61%. The total sales of quasi-heavy trucks in the 14 tons total weight ≤ 19 tons range were 1,038 units, a year-on-year decrease of 42.94%.
From the cumulative sales ranking for heavy truck (including non-completed vehicles) production companies for the period from January to November, the top three companies are: Dongfeng, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group and China FAW. The sales volume is: 73,835, 71,947, and 55,606, respectively. The cumulative increase of 29.42%, 17.67% and 24.85%. The four to six companies are Shaanxi Automobile (31,229 units), Beiqi Foton (23,241 units) and SAIC Iveco Hongyan (20068 units).
China Card's declining trend year-on-year
In November, China National Card (including non-integrated vehicles) produced a total of 14,579 vehicles, a decrease of 24.80% year-on-year; sales of 15,603 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 24.93%. Compared with October, output rose by 3.26% and sales rose by 9.15%. Among them, the China Card completed the production and sales of 11581 vehicles and 11571 vehicles in November, a year-on-year decrease of 6.38% and 4.50%; the production and sales of CND non-integrated vehicles were 2,998 and 4032, a year-on-year decrease of 57.28% and 53.48%.
From the cumulative sales rankings of Sino-California (including non-integrated vehicles) production companies for the period from January to November, the top three companies were: Dongfeng, FAW and Chengdu Trump, with sales of 58203 vehicles, 47598 vehicles, and 18099 vehicles, respectively. It decreased by 14.14%, 14.13% and 3.67%. Four to six companies are: Sichuan Nanjun (14813), Anhui Jianghuai (11603) and Chengdu Xindi (10247). In the second echelon of the China Card Industry, the new land in Chengdu can be said to rise against the trend, surpassing Hubei Three Rings and occupying a place in the rankings. Its sales increased by 382.05% and 321.27% year-on-year and by month-on-month, respectively.
