Iran claims that if the U.S. dollar continues to depreciate and the political crisis intensifies, the oil price may rise to 500 U.S. dollars.

An Iranian weekly Shahrvand-e Emrooz released an exclusive interview on Saturday saying that Iran’s OPEC representative Mohammad Ali Khatibi stated that if the US dollar continues to depreciate and political tensions intensify, global oil prices may reach a maximum in the next few years. $500 per barrel.
Mohammad Ali Khatibi said, "If the U.S. dollar continues to depreciate, if the political crisis deteriorates, the price of oil will rise to $500."
He made the above statement when asked if the oil price was as high as 200 U.S. dollars in the next two or three years.
