Pirelli's first A/A rating tires listed

Recently, Pirelli Tire Company held an international media conference in Valencia, Spain, the venue for the 2012 season F1 Grand Prix Europe, to announce the launch of its new Cinturato P7 Blue tires.

According to reports, this tire is Pirelli’s first product to receive Europe's “new tire labeling system” A/A (rotational resistance/low road braking force) rating.

As a new member of the Pirelli Cinturato family, the Cinturato P7 Blue, like the older tires of the series, is suitable for medium and large-capacity limousines and is currently available on the European market. However, according to reports, the difference in new products is that they currently only sell for the aftermarket.

Official data shows that the Cinturato P7 Blue tire has a short braking distance and low rolling resistance. Compared with Class B tyres, the braking distance is shortened by 2.6 meters; compared with Class C tyres, the rolling resistance is reduced by 23%. It is estimated that these two breakthroughs can save fuel by 5.1%.

Cinturato and P Zero are Pirelli's most representative two series of high-end tire products. Given consumers' preference for high-tech and high-quality products, the core of Pirelli's high-end product strategy is to improve tire safety and reduce energy consumption.
