Protein analyzer operating principle and maintenance method

Crude protein is one of the most important indicators for measuring feed ingredients and feed products. Crude protein was most frequently detected in laboratories. Once the protein analyzer malfunctions, it will seriously affect the progress of the feed mill's work. I have been sampling at many feed mills and found that many lab technicians lacked knowledge about the maintenance of the equipment. This article focuses on the main points of the maintenance of the protein analyzer, designed to serve as a reference for laboratory technicians.
First, the principle of protein analyzer Introduction "crude protein" is determined by the Kjeldahl method, that is, the role of the cui agent, using sulfuric acid at high temperatures to decompose the organic substances in the sample, dehydration, so that protein and ammonia The compounds are converted into inorganic ammonia and concentrated sulfuric acid to produce ferric sulfate; under the action of strong alkalis, ferric sulfate emits ammonia, the condensed liquid ammonia is absorbed by boric acid to form tetraboric acid, and the sample is titrated with a standard acid to determine the content of the sample. The amount of nitrogen, measured nitrogen content multiplied by 6.25, is the content of crude protein in the sample. The reaction process is divided into three steps: digestion, distillation and titration. The protein analyzer is designed based on the above principle. At present, there are two major types of protein analyzers used in our province: one is the "BSn type nitrogen determination instrument" produced by Beijing Agricultural University, and the other is the "KDN-03 protein measurement instrument" produced by Shanghai Xinjia Electronics Co., Ltd. . It consists of two parts, the digester and the distiller.

Its internal circuit is the parallel connection of four electric furnaces, so the maintenance is relatively simple. If the boot is not normal, you can check and repair: (1) Check whether the fuse is burned out; (2) Check if the switch is normal; (3) Check if the resistance wire is blown.

(1) Turn on the power, the power indicator is off, check the fuse, and replace the same fuse if burned out.
(2) The temperature is continuously adjustable from room temperature to 450°C and can be controlled at a set temperature. If it is turned on, the temperature keeps rising and cannot be controlled at a set temperature. Should first check whether the sensor is damaged; next check the temperature control circuit, open the case, generally replace the helium control element pioneer.
(3) No heating, use the multimeter to check if the external heater is on. If not, replace it.

(2) Turn on the heating switch, no steam occurs for a long time, first look at whether the water temperature rises. If it does not rise, then use a multimeter to check whether the heater is conducting, if the heater is damaged, replace it, and check whether the steam pipe is Leakage, leak adjustment can be.
(3) Connect the alkali adding device and the non-alkaline liquid to the human digestive tube. Check whether the alkali pipe is blocked or leaked. If there is no problem, check whether the alkali pump is damaged or damaged.
2, Shanghai Magic KDN 03 Distiller maintenance (1) Alkali is mechanical, not electronically controlled, it is relatively simple, found that when it is not normal, just adjust the alkali switch, or check the pipeline is blocked, leak can be .
(2) After adding water, turn on the power supply. As the water level rises, the current increases gradually (the water level should not be too high), and steam is generated. After a period of time, the pressure is balanced and the current is constant. If it can't balance, if the current is unstable, it will cause trouble. Maintenance can be started in two ways: First, check the steam pipe for leaks. If any, adjust immediately to make it closed. Secondly check the relay for bad contact or damage. If it is damaged, replace the relay. If there is no relay around, the circuit can be modified. The modified circuit is shown in Figure 2. In this way, the circuit is not easy to damage, but at the same time can achieve the previous effect. One of the instruments that I installed was modified in this way. This year, 150 samples were examined by the entire province, and the accuracy and stability were better.
