Entrusted by Shandong XXX Company, Xi'an Tianzhou Mining Technology Development Co., Ltd. conducted an ore selectivity test on Shandong XXX Mining lead ore samples from December 2007 to January 2008, with the aim of determining a reasonable beneficiation process plan. Provide scientific and technical basis for the development and utilization of this resource.
The test ore is a sulfide-rich hydrothermal oxidized ore. Metal ore minerals galena about 21.1%, followed by about 6.6% alumina, lead, also contain small or trace amounts of copper, chalcopyrite, chalcocite and other gangue minerals with sodium feldspar accounting for 44.4%, followed by quartz, accounting for 16.8%, as well as easy to mud of gangue minerals, chlorite, sericite and carbonate minerals in a small amount. After the ore blending, the lead content of the test sample was 5.66%.
The primary minerals in the ore are mainly galena, the secondary minerals are mainly lead bismuth, and there are still a small amount of secondary minerals of chalcopyrite, Tonglan, and copper.
The galena is a coarse-grained structure, and is mostly agglomerate aggregates in the ore.
The ore is partially oxidized lead ore. Due to oxidation, all galena is partially oxidized. The oxidized minerals are mainly lead bismuth. Lead bismuth and galena are closely symbiotic.
The target minerals recovered by the test are galena and its oxidized mineral lead and lead. Copper minerals and other minerals do not reach the recycled grade and cannot be recycled comprehensively.
Combined with multiple analysis and detection and rock and mineral identification, after a large number of detailed flotation experiments, a reasonable flotation process plan was finally determined, and the technical indicators as shown in Table 1 were obtained.

Although the ore sample is mainly composed of coarse galena, it is easy to be enriched, but it still contains a considerable part of lead oxide (mainly lead bismuth), and the oxidation rate is as high as 36.77%, which makes the flotation difficult. . The presence of some easily muddy minerals such as chlorite, calcite and sericite also increases the difficulty of flotation.
The flotation process proposed by this experimental research has successfully solved the above problems and obtained better technical indicators in the same ore, which can be used as a reference for designing and building factories.

Conclusion:

1. The test ore sent by Shandong XXX Company is a sulfide-rich hydrothermal oxidized ore. The ore in the ore is mainly composed of galena, accounting for 21.1%, followed by lead bismuth, which accounts for 6.6%. 2. A detailed experimental study on the ore was carried out. The ore contained 5.66% of lead, and the test achieved a lead recovery rate of 91.09%. The two concentrates had a good lead grade of 51.84%.
3. The conditional test data in the test process have proved that the lead grade can reach 58~63% as long as the lead crude ore concentrate yield is below 6.5%. Based on this, no lead concentrates were selected in the closed circuit test. Due to the slightly higher yield, the PbK grade is not too high, and the subsequent "closed test supplement" proves that as long as one selection, the yield is 10.3%, the crude concentrate of lead grade 42.12%, the PbK grade can reach 61.24%, and the operation The recovery rate is above 90%. Explain that there is no problem with the improvement of the ore grade.
4. According to the principle of “pre-receiving, early harvest, early loss, early loss”, it is recommended that future production adopt the recommended process flow in this report. The process is characterized by taking out qualified lead concentrates as quickly as possible without participating in the selected cycle, which guarantees a high recovery rate. According to experience, in the current high price of non-ferrous metals, raising one recovery rate is much higher than improving one concentrate quality.
