(ABC) China-Japan Seminar on Advanced Polymer Materials was held in Guangzhou from November 27 to 30, 2013. The China-Japan Advanced Polymer Materials Symposium was an academic conference co-founded by the State 863 structural material subject experts and Japanese polymer materials experts in 1995. The conference aims to exchange cutting-edge research results, development trends, and applied researches such as polymer materials, polymer alloys, and nanotechnology; most of the participants in the exchange are internationally renowned scholars and industry elites. The first four sessions were supported by the 863 special expenses of the Ministry of Science and Technology. After the fifth session, they were replaced by the China Engineering Plastics Industry Association and supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Since the association's hosting, the conference has gradually gone through marketization and industrialization, gradually changing from pure academic exchange to a combination of production, learning and research, and the enthusiasm of the business community to participate has increased year by year. The conference is a new seminar organized by the China Engineering Plastics Industry Association after its name was changed to China Synthetic Resin Association. The conference was attended by more than 100 participants from China and Japan. At the seminar, more than 20 industry experts were arranged to publish the latest scientific research results and new products, and participants were organized to conduct international academic and technical exchanges. This year coincided with the 10th ABC event. The organizer invited the former senior and old experts from China and Japan who participated in the creation of the ABC conference to the meeting to discuss the future development of the material industry together with the high-level figures from the scientific and technological circles and the business community. The commemorative album for the first nine sessions of the ABC conference was edited and published. The conference celebrations and awards were held at the welcome dinner on the 28th. The organizers arranged the participants after the meeting and visited the Blonde Technology Co., Ltd. and the Midea Group.
