The core hardware of wind direction wind speed monitor
The hardware circuit of the data collector is the core of the wind direction wind speed monitor. The current mature and reliable technology is designed. The data collector hardware consists of a controller (CPU) circuit unit, a wind direction wind speed interface circuit unit, a power conversion unit, a data storage unit, and an RS-232 communication unit.
Controller (CPU) circuit unit: The controller unit circuit is the control center of the data collector, and controls each part to complete functions such as data acquisition, calculation, storage, and communication. The CPU uses PHILIPS 8-bit CPU P89C58. P89C58 is based on 80C51, with 32K bytes of FLASH, 128 bytes of RAM, Boolean processor, full static operation, wide temperature range, dual data pointers, 3 security bits, 4 interrupt priorities, 6 interrupt sources, Four 8-bit I/O ports, full-duplex enhanced UART and other features. Suitable for this project application. The P89C58P0 port is both an address port and a data port. Through the expansion of a 74HC373 to achieve data port and address port reuse. The periphery of P89C58 also needs to add a crystal oscillator circuit (12MHz), an address chip select circuit (74HC138), a data address latch (74HC373), and a watchdog circuit (X5045) to form a controller circuit unit.
Wind speed interface circuit unit: The output characteristics of the wind anemometer are: 7-bit gray code for wind direction, and pulse frequency signal for wind speed. The interface circuit provides 5V DC power to the sensor. The wind speed pulses are sent to the counter 74HC393 for counting by the RC filter of the interface unit and the Schmitt trigger shaping. The 7-bit gray code level of the wind direction signal is input to the control circuit unit through the 74HC245 shaping circuit of the interface circuit. After the CPU obtains the wind direction Gray code, the instantaneous wind direction data can be obtained.
