1. Judgment from the appearance: Observe whether the appearance is deformed, protruded, leaked, cracked and blasted, scorched, and there is no oxide exudation at the screw connection.

2, with load measurement: If no abnormal appearance, UPS works in battery mode, with a certain amount of load, if the discharge time is significantly shorter than the normal discharge time, after charging 8 hours, but can not restore the normal standby time, determine the battery aging .

3, using a multimeter to measure:

A. Measurement under battery discharge mode: Measure the voltage of each battery terminal in the battery pack. If one or more of the battery terminal voltages are obviously higher or lower than the nominal voltage (nominal voltage is 12V/node), judge the battery aging.

B. Measurement in Mains Mode: The charging voltage of each battery terminal in the battery pack. If the charging voltage of one or more of the batteries is obviously higher or lower than other voltages, the battery is judged to be aging.

C. Measure the total voltage of the battery pack: The total voltage of the battery pack is obviously lower than the nominal value (the nominal value of the C1K battery pack is 36V as an example). After charging for 8 hours, it cannot be restored to the normal value, even if it recovers to the normal value. The discharge time does not reach the normal discharge time and it is determined that the battery is aged.

D, battery boot measurement: UPS does not boot, do not connect to electricity, first use a multimeter to measure the total battery voltage, C1K, for example, this time the voltage may be between 36V-40V, is normal, do not leave the table pen, has been Keep an eye on the indicator of the multimeter, and then connect the power button. If the total battery voltage immediately drops below 30V or even more than ten volts, the UPS will automatically shut down, and the voltage will be restored to its original value immediately after shutdown. Determine battery aging.
