Honeywell has announced that it will provide Integrated Steering and Safety System (ICSS) for the world's first FLNG LNG Liquefaction, Regasification, and Storage Unit (FLRSU).
David Higgins, director of maritime operations at Honeywell's Process Control Division, said: "We are working with Black & Veatch to solve the hull pretreatment and liquefaction process and also with Wison. The company cooperates on barges, cargo ships and public utilities. Therefore, we have integrated our experience in process control and marine operations into this groundbreaking project to achieve the industry's first production of LNG in an offshore environment.â€

The regasification and storage unit will be completed at the Wison Offshore Marine Manufacturing Facility in Nantong, China.
