LANXESS Middle East GmbH is headquartered in Dubai. According to Bai Weining, member of the Management Board of LANXESS Group, “The Middle East market has good prospects for LANXESS, whether it is raw materials supply or local demand for high-quality products. By setting up subsidiaries, we will be able to Effectively assess and tap the strategic potential of the Middle East." LANXESS currently supplies its customers in the Middle East with specialty chemicals, pigments for the construction industry, and high-tech plastics and rubber products. Elie Saad was appointed as the general manager of the new company. Saad had previously served in several roles at LANXESS. Prior to becoming the general manager of the new company, he was head of Global Polymer Additives for the Functional Chemicals Business Unit.
