Sinter

Pellet mine

The advantages of pellets are high iron content, high compressive strength and drum index, and good metallurgical properties. It is an important part of the blast furnace “fine material”. The pellets produced in the world include acid pellets, dolomite flux pellets and self-fluxing pellets, but currently the blast furnace production is commonly used in acidic pellets. The alkalinity of the acidic pellets is generally 0.03-0.30. The advantages of the pellets (1) can be produced in the fine-milled iron concentrate with high content. The acid pellets can reach 68% and the SiO2 content is only 1.15. %, (2) The mineral is mainly hematite, and the FeO content is very low (less than 1%). (3) Good cold strength. The drum index can be as high as 95%. The particle size is uniform, and the 8-16 mm grade can reach more than 90%. (4) The natural pile angle is smaller than that of the sintered ore. (5) Good reduction performance. Low-temperature reduction and pulverization rate can improve the gas permeability of the blast furnace block column. Natural lump ore

Natural lump ore, such as direct human protection and smelting, requires high grade, less harmful impurities, and good metallurgical properties. The domestic Hainan Island mine can be used as an auxiliary material because of its low grade and high SiO2 content. Advantages of natural lump ore The main advantage of natural lump ore is that the high grade can be directly used in the furnace, the price is cheap, and the cost before the iron can be reduced. Quality requirements for lump ore (1) The grade of the furnace is high. Generally, the W (TFe) should be greater than 62%, and the composition is basically stable and the fluctuation is small. (2) To have certain mechanical strength, wear resistance, pressure resistance and impact resistance, the drum index should be greater than 80%. The anti-wear index should be less than 10%. (3) The particle size of the furnace block should be small and uniform. Equivalent to sinter and pellets, in the range of 5 - 35 mm. (4) The reduction of natural lump ore is very different. It is required that the degree of reduction is greater than 55%. (5) High-temperature metallurgical performance: softening temperature is high 1050'C. Softening degree range is lower than 200'C,
