It is understood that the Sangonghe Formation gas reservoir in the Well Block 5 of the Mosuowan Oilfield is the first medium condensate gas reservoir developed by the Xinjiang Oilfield Company. The type of gas reservoir is complex, and its fluid distribution is characterized by “up gas, oil, and water.†Since it was put into use in 2003, it has exposed problems such as incompatibility of reserve scale and development, severe back-convergence, and formation water in some wells. Below the scheme design, the mining effect is not ideal. The Sangonghe Formation gas pool in the Well Block 5 of the Mosuowan oil and gas field is a complex gas reservoir and it is difficult to develop. Through the development of this project, it has guiding significance for improving the development effect of complex gas reservoirs and exploring the development model of low-permeability condensate gas reservoirs in the Junggar Basin.
