It is understood that the launch of the smart car joint experimental open road is located in the section of Ronghua Middle Road to Boda Building in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. The total length of the road is 12 kilometers, including complex traffic environment such as bus lanes, tidal lanes and main auxiliary roads. The communication is responsible for providing the LTE network solution.
At present, more than 20 sets of road and road coordination equipment have been deployed at 7 intersections of the road section, and are interconnected with traffic lights, roadside signage signs, variable information boards, and construction road signs. The car with the car networking function can drive through the road section, and can realize the functions of blind spot reminding, emergency vehicle approach, pedestrian intrusion, green light passing speed prompt, priority vehicle passing, etc., so that the driver can pass safer and more efficiently.
According to the “Field-Road-District Three-Level Test Environment” project, another core work in the first phase of the project – the closed test site is under construction. The Beijing area test site will include the expressway and expressway test area, which contains complex roundabouts. The urban road test area of ​​the plane overpass and the rural test area are expected to be completed by the end of this year. The test site in Hebei will mainly be based on the urban environment, and construction is expected to be completed in October this year.
The second phase of the project will continue to expand the pilot program of vehicle networking. The third phase of the project is planned to realize an open test area of ​​25 square kilometers from 2018 to 2019. At the same time, it will deploy and install car networking equipment at Jingkai Expressway, New Airport Expressway and Gyeonggi Unicom Expressway, and will be the intelligent network connected automobile enterprise in China. Will debut to provide basic services.
