On August 26th this year, the German Bosch Automotive Chassis Control System project was officially signed in Chengdu Economic Development Zone. This is the second chassis control system base that Bosch Group has invested in after China's Suzhou. 
“Integration of Production with Cities and Trinity†is an important concept of the overall planning of Tianfu New District. Within a certain range, it is led by a specific industry and has corresponding production and service support. The Bosch Group settled in Chengdu's automotive chassis control system base, which is the largest production base of its automotive technology department in China. The project will provide supporting for the high-end industries in Chengdu. Specific to the base construction process, construction will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of “intensive development, green and low carbonâ€. The base covers an area of ​​430 mu, of which the first phase covers 77 mu and the investment is 283 million yuan. The annual output value will reach 800 million yuan. The second phase will occupy 110 mu and the investment will be 500 million yuan. The annual output value will reach 2.3 billion yuan. The third phase covers an area of ​​240 mu, with an estimated investment of 95 million yuan.
According to reports, the Bosch Group's project is divided into three phases. The first phase of the first phase of the project will cover an area of ​​77 mu with an investment of 283 million yuan. It is expected to be completed in March 2013. The first phase of the project will mainly produce ABS (Antilock Braking System), ESP (Electronic Body Stabilization System) and related sensors, and will produce 1.4 million ABS/ESP systems and 19 million sensors annually after production.
"Now that the formation of the first phase of the site has been basically completed, construction can be started immediately." Construction manager Liu Jie, the site manager of Shanghai Boshang Construction Consulting Co., Ltd., has made a special trip from Chengdu to Chengdu. According to him, the phase III project will be completed between 2019 and 2020. In Chengdu, Bosch will provide products to all local vehicle manufacturers and numerous international manufacturers. The average annual production value is expected to reach more than RMB 2 billion.
