Collector BK310 flotation molybdenum ore

Collector BK310 easily dispersed in water is a liquid having good low temperature fluidity, less sticky, which were stronger than the collecting capability of currently used selected from kerosene and diesel trap molybdenum collector, than aerofloat The selectivity of the collector is good. The use of mixed oil and BK310 as a collector flotation recovery of a certain molybdenum ore in Henan Province, obtained an ideal beneficiation index.

First, the nature of the ore

The test ore sample was taken from a molybdenum mine in Henan. The Mo content in the ore is 0.14%, C is 0.18%, and Cu is less than 0.005%. Metal minerals include molybdenite, a magnetic iron pyrite, followed by a small amount of yellow copper ore, sphalerite, galena, hematite and other minerals. The gangue minerals are mainly quartz , chlorite, feldspar , mica and hornblende, followed by calcite , epidote, fluorite , rutile, vermiculite and monazite. The chemical phase analysis of molybdenum in the ore indicates that molybdenite accounts for 95.80% of the total molybdenum. The molybdenum ore is mainly in the form of a sheet-like aggregate that is unevenly embedded in the gangue or near-vein cleft, except for a part of the coarse aggregate and the fine-grained single crystal embedded in the gangue mineral, most of the molybdenite The medium and fine granule aggregates are embedded in the gangue minerals. The molybdenite inlaid cloth has a relatively coarse grain size, and the molybdenum ore occupancy rate is 36.61% in the +0.074mm grain size, and the occupancy rate in the -0.010mm grain size is relatively low, which is 5.80%.

Second, the test results and discussion

(1) Determination of grinding fineness

The results of the dissociation of molybdenite in ore at different grinding fineness are shown in Table 1. As can be seen from Table 1, when the fineness of the grinding is 65% - 0.074 mm, the monomer dissociation degree of the molybdenum ore is about 80%. With the increase of grinding mile, the monomer dissociation degree of molybdenite increased slightly, but the content of monomer dissociation was not obvious when the content of -0.074mm was more than 80%.

The results of the fineness test of the ore grinding are shown in Table 2. Due to the uneven grain size of molybdenum ore in the ore, the particle size distribution range is wide. Therefore, in order to reduce the cost of ore dressing, rough grinding and flotation should be used as much as possible. In the coarse grinding flotation operation, a suitable collector is needed to obtain a coarse concentrate with the highest molybdenum recovery rate. The obtained coarse concentrate is selected by blank selection, then re-grinded or directly re-grinded. Get the final concentrate. As can be seen from Table 2, when the grinding fineness is 65% - 0.074 mm, the molybdenum recovery rate is suitable for the ore.

(two) collector selection

Comparative tests were carried out using different types of collectors. The test procedure is shown in Figure 1.

As can be seen from Table 3, the collector BK310 has a strong ability to capture molybdenum, and the molybdenum recovery rate is 94.55%, which is about 7% higher than that of the collector kerosene, mixed oil and 25 # black medicine.

(3) Determination of regrind fineness

The molybdenum coarse concentrate is re-ground after a blank selection, and the grinding fineness test process is shown in Figure 2. The test results are shown in Table 4.

According to the test results, the regrind fineness of the coarse concentrate was selected to be 71%-0.038 mm.

(4) Closed circuit process results

The closed-circuit test adopts the process flow of “one coarse and two sweeps, coarse concentrate blank selection, two sections of regrind, and eight selections”. The flow is shown in Figure 3. The test results are shown in Table 5.

Third, the conclusion

The collector BK310 has good harvesting ability and selectivity for the molybdenite in the ore. When the original ore molybdenum grade is 0.14%. The obtained molybdenum concentrate grade was 53.83%, and the recovery rate was 90.14%. It meets the quality requirements of KM053-A in China's molybdenum concentrate standard GB3200-89.
