After the connectors are docked, there is a small air gap between the fiber end faces. Antireflection film can prevent the light of multiple reflections, while the optical fiber end face lower than the ferrule surface, to ensure that the optical fiber end face in the docking without damage. Working pressure on the connector is small, the fiber end does not need to highlight, greatly simplifying the grinding process, and reduce test equipment costs. Currently, single-mode, multi-mode non-contact MPO connectors have been successfully developed.
