Recently, the reporter learned from the Beima Town Government that the Beima Wind Farm Project has just been approved by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the total investment of the project is about 400 million yuan. At present, the project has already begun its preliminary planning and site selection, and it is expected to begin construction within the year. As the city's first wind power project, the prelude to the real use of wind energy in Longkou City was unveiled.

The project was invested and built by Longkou Dongyi Wind Power Co., Ltd. It is located in the hilly and hilly area of ​​Beima Town, southwest of Longkou. The installed capacity of the project is 30MW, and 20 1500KW wind generators are built. The wind turbines are connected to the proposed 220 kV Beima substation through a variable wiring system and are connected to Shandong Power Grid at a voltage level of 110 kV. The equipment needed for the project will be purchased through open bidding, and the localization rate of wind power equipment will reach over 70%. According to the relevant regulations of the State, supporting power transmission and transformation projects shall be funded by the power grid management department and shall be constructed and operated. The on-grid electricity price of the project is determined by the price department in accordance with relevant regulations. At present, the construction and construction unit is actively making optimization of the fan layout and installation plan, strictly controlling the scale of construction land, and saving and intensive land use.

Wind energy is the cleanest, pollution-free renewable energy source. According to estimates by experts, the global available wind energy resources are 20 billion kilowatts, which is about 10 times that of the available hydraulic resources. If 1% of wind energy is used, it can generate 8% to 9% of the world's total electricity. According to the prediction of related departments, China's available wind energy resources are about 1.6 billion kilowatts, of which about 25.3 billion kilowatts have good use value. The Beima Wind Farm Project is a renewable and clean energy that is encouraged and supported by the national industrial policy.
